EngagementApps lists tools that help companies measure and improve employee engagement: survey platforms, recognition and rewards tools, performance and feedback software, frontline apps, and apps that run inside Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Where the data comes from
Every listing is built from the vendor’s own website, mainly its homepage, product pages, and pricing page. For each tool we record:
- The starting price, in the vendor’s words and currency
- Whether a free plan or free trial exists, with any user limits
- Minimum contracts or minimum spend, when the vendor states one
- Whether the vendor lists a Slack or Microsoft Teams integration
- Whether the product is built for frontline or deskless staff, and whether it has a mobile app
- Which core features the vendor lists (surveys, recognition, feedback, 1:1s, goals)
Each listing shows the month we last checked it. Prices for tools featured in our buyer’s guides are rechecked before a guide is published.
What “Not confirmed” means
If a listing says “Not confirmed”, we didn’t find that detail on the vendor’s site when we checked. It doesn’t mean the tool lacks the feature. Many vendors only share pricing or integration details in a demo, and some pages load content in ways our checks can’t read. We would rather say we don’t know than guess.
What we don’t do
- We don’t publish star ratings, scores, or rankings in the directory.
- We don’t copy ratings or review counts from review sites.
- We don’t invent statistics, quotes, or testimonials.
- We don’t change a listing’s facts because of an affiliate relationship.
Our buyer’s guides do recommend tools for specific situations. Those picks are based on published pricing, features, and fit for the use case described in each guide, and each guide explains its reasoning.
Corrections
Vendors and readers can claim or correct a listing. We check every requested change against the vendor’s website before updating it. If a detail isn’t published anywhere, we may note it as provided by the vendor.
