When you use our contact, submit-a-tool, or claim-a-listing forms, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, message, and any tool details or website address you provide. We use it to reply to you and, for listings, to check and update the directory. Form submissions are stored in our website’s admin area and sent to us by email.
We don’t sell this information or use it for advertising.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps server logs that can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running. The site uses caching to load faster, which doesn’t require cookies for visitors.
WordPress sets cookies only if you log in to the site’s admin area. We don’t run advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other third-party tools, we’ll update this page first.
Links to other websites
Listings and guides link to vendor websites. Some are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). When you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network may set cookies to track the referral. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
